  1. Exactly what you took in with you - anything else is theft, pure and simple.

  2. Take it all you savage beast. And wait for the bill to show up on the credit card.

  3. take whatever you can fit in the case, pictures , kettle, bed , mini bar, curtains, carpet, the whole lot

  4. I don't really know what official 'rules' or etiquette is, but there is a really funny episode of Friends where Ross introduces Chandler to this notion. Ross explains that the things belonging to the hotel, you cannot take, but things which are in there for your use is OK.

So, of your list, everything is fine other than the iron, the bible and pillows. Ross says, you can take the toilet roll but not the toilet, the batteries but not the remote, the light bulb but not the lamp, the salt but not the salt-shaker and so on. Makes sense! Lol....if a little extreme!

can you take the Pine Cones at the front desk? ;)

  6. Anything if you didn't have to pay a deposit.  TV's leave via the window though.

  7. you're not really supposed to take any....

  10. You can take items meant for consumption - coffee, tea, sugar, shampoo, etc.  If you take anything else, you will be charged a replacement charge - the value of the new item, not the value of what you took - which is usually higher than you would expect.  You can also be faced with criminal theft charges if too much is taken or damaged.

  11. The police came round my house and made me give the receptionist back.

  12. You can only take what belonged to you when you checked into the hotel. In practice, people do take consumables from the hotel room (such as shampoo etc).

  13. take whatever you want (you can't legally do it though), but at the end of the day they charge a fortune normally so you may aswell get your money's worth...hahaha

  14. no nail, no jail
