  1. More important,do they need help ?

  2. There is a loophole in the law where you dont have to pay road tax for a vehicle your living in. But, you definetely need an MOT & insurance for a vehicle thats on the queens highway.

  3. not if its parked if on public layby only tax,

  4. YES!

but what has this to do with "dining out"?

  5. It only needs an MOT if there going to drive it, if there leaving it parked and not driving it there not braking any laws.

Check the tax disk though because if the tax is out of date and there parked on public property then there braking the law, But if its private property then yet again there not braking the law.

  6. An MOT,insurance and 4 new tyres is probably what it needs.

  7. Yes it needs tax, an MOT and insurance although a bomb underneath would probably be best

  8. If it's on a public highway, then it needs an mot tax and insurance.

  9. Yes.  If it's parked on a public road, it must be M.O.T'd, taxed and insured.

I'm surprised they are living in a van.  The social usually gives them everything (rent-free house etc) - especially seeing as they are immigrants.

  10. if it's on a public highway...then yes it does.   sounds like life is very tough for them!

  11. I feel so sorry for the poor souls having to live like that, but If it's on the road, then it has to be registered like any other vehicle.
