  1. its just a preplanned meal for a group

  2. Banquet is "family style" in asian restaurants. Your group orders a bunch of dishes, like a peking duck, a fish, some sort of noodles and/or rice and veggie dishes. All of the food is placed in the center of the table (usually round) on a lazy suzanne (A disc that spins around seperate from the table), and you eat as if you're at home with your family.

It's helpful to bring a group of 4 or more so that you can finish the meal.

  3. Banquet is when someone is getting married.
