how do you keep the camera still so you can video the ride, i want to know because i am goin to 6 flags and want to video the rides

  1. I've been trying to think about this one....

    If your body doesn't shake about too much, then maybe you could hold the camera tight to your chest and it would record quite still as you went around the track.

    Or you could get a velcro strap and attach the camera to your safety harness thing before the ride starts. But I think you'd have to do that when the supervisor guy isn't looking because I doubt you'll be allowed to do that.

    That's all I can come up with.   =]


  2. If they catch you video taping the ride (or even carrying a camera on the ride with you), there's a chance they'll eject you from the park without a refund. It poses a significant safety risk to others on the ride whenever you bring a camera on the ride. If you lose grip of it, it can easily hit someone else on the train doing serious injury. I've personally seen it happen (I used to be a ride operator). Even if it doesn't hit anyone, it's almost guaranteed to land in an area where you won't be getting it (and the ride ops likely won't care enough about it to get get it for you either).

    Be safe and don't try it. You can almost guarantee someone has already taken a much better onride video of it anyway.
