In a rush to grow up ... ?

Question

I've been told I'm in too much of a rush to grow up. I guess I am. I'm only 13 and I'm a freshman in high school and I know where I want to live, who I'm marrying, how many kids I want, what I'm majoring in and I'm so excited to get out of high school. I know that these are going to be some of the greatest years but my boyfriends father makes it so hard. Don't ask why, it just is. I've also been told I look like I'm 27 years old.

Plus, I'm so excited to have a baby and get married.

What can I do to not be in such a rush to grow up?

i wouldnt say you look like 27 more like 18 but yea you are in a ruch to grow up just relax and have fun its high school :)

you are NEVER only 13... those pics are of someone much older!!!

don't grow up too fast... life isn't worth that kind of rush... enjoy things... ;)

[and if you are 13, you should take down your pics, cos the local pervs will add them to their collections]

well it is good to have your future planned out and to know what you want to do after high school but i think you may be in a little bit of a rush to grow up. you don't look 13 but you don't look too old you look like a junior or something. you need to slow down a little an just enjoy being young go hang out with your friends keep your options open and you don't have to follow your life plans excactly you can improvise.

and a lot of people are in a rush to grow up and move further in their carrear and in their life your not alone

You're thirteen.  You may believe you know exactly what you want out of your life.  That makes sense - you're learning about adulthood and experiencing a lot of new things; however, it's important to understand that your perceptions can and WILL change as you mature.  

I hate to say it, but it's likely you'll only understand just how much you'll change what you want until you're older and have life experience under your belt.  The school of hard knocks changes a person.  Highschool changes a person.  COLLEGE changes a person.  

It seems like you're aware that you shouldn't be in a rush to grow up.  That's commendable.  With that in mind, don't keep yourself from changing your mind just because you believe you know what you want.  Allow yourself to grow, expand your horizons, challenge your beliefs.  That's the whole point of growing up, and it's a shame to lose that.

i remember i couldn't wait till i was a teenager.... then i couldn't wait till i was 16.. then 18.... then 21.... now i look back and wonder where all those years went... that went by so very fast....

it will all happen in time... enjoy it while it lasts.....

you do look much older. i think that you should stop focusing on the future and think about the present. live every day as if it were your last. and don't worrie about what will come in the future, and then everything else will just fall into place..

yea..you definately look older than u really r! but ur gorgeous!! anyways just live ur life the way it is without making huge plans of what ur life as an adult is going to be like!! have fun as a teen  because once you have a family you'll be raising the kids for like more than half ur life. Really, being older isn't as great as you think!! i mean it can be but ur only 13!!
