In a set of golf clubs, what does GW stand for?

I bought a new set of clubs online the other day, and one of the clubs included was a GW. I was wondering what type of wedge this is, I've never heard of a G-Wedge before

  1. Gap wedge. There is a big difference in loft between your average PW (48) and your average SW (56). The gap wedge is normally around 52 degrees.
