In a shop environment, what should you do if you're first to find a fire?

Run like h**l to your toolbox and push is out the nearest bay door. Then you may attempt to extinguish the fire and look for somebody to blame it on.

    Your OK there bmac, we feuded once before , but hey in your words "chit" happens.

   Sometimes if the fire is really big it is OK to make the comment,  Gee I wonder how the new shop will be after the insurance company rebuilds.

grab the nearest fire extinguisher and get to work...shops must maintain a few. if its big enough get out/ call the fire station shops have alot of explosive chemicals. No chit, bustazz, push ur tools out! lol

Depends on how brave you are> First alert everyone of the fire> Call 911> If you have the know how and courage extinguish the fire> Help others to get out safely>
