  1. what is in the circuit?.A simple circuit might have a light bulb in it in which case the flexible wire(although not very flexible) would be the tungsten filament

  4. Not sure what you are after here - but  could it be you are referring to the flexible wires used to connect up on the circuit boards used in schools?

    These are just conducting wires normally made from a copper alloy and covered in insulating plastic with a plug on each end - represented in a circuit diagram as a straight solid line between the components in the circuit.

  6. Not too sure what you mean. A cable is all I can think of. Also, wire is still commonly used.
