In a speech yesterday, Palins said that she opposed the "bridge to nowhere", saying she told?

Congress thanks but no thanks, and that 'If our state wanted a bridge,' I said, 'we'd build it ourselves.'

Why did she lie? Why didn't she admit that when she was running for Governor, she supported the bridge????

  1. The comment is based on some public works projects in the past which have literally been built where there was no road on either side, no stream or railroad track or highway to get over, and nothing planned to be built to lead to it. They were a bridge to nowhere and were simply pork barrrel projects.
