  1. Putting one foot first, or the other foot first will NOT determine what foot will be the last step of your race. One day you might run the 100-meter dash in 90 steps and the next day it might be 87 or 91. This is due to your stride length which can vary on how stretched out you are on race day, and even what the temperature is outside, and the wind can affect your stride length.

In order to determine what leg should be first in the starting blocks and what should be the trail leg is YOUR call. Personally, I feel that your more dominant leg should be back. I think this because your first stride of the race is your trail leg in the blocks. Yes, the other leg is pushing the hardest out of the blocks, but any real sprinter knows that the starting blocks is a 2-legged start. In all reality, both of your leg power should be almost identical in strength. So, it is up to you.

  2. WEAKER IT ENABLES YOU TO PUSH OFF THEN A BG STRIDE TO GET YOU UP TO SPEED

  3. Your weaker, it means your stronger foot will take a majority of the strides including your last gasp gallop for the finish line.

Try it in practice first though to perfect it.
