In a story called why me? - should a tragic eventlike-the mother dying father left injured from car accident?

i am writing a story - also wanting to publish it- many things happen to her- and on top of everything - her mother dies, and father gets injured. should this happen?

I would say the father dies and the mother is injured, but nothing drastic... just something or anything that disables her from working--if that's where your story is going.

Your question doesn't make much sense grammatically, but I get the gist of what you are asking. Obviously tragic events do happen from time to time and people do write stories and novels about them. It probably shouldn't happen but unfortunately it does - that's life!
