  1. wing chun, krav maga,

  2. the master would say Jeet Kun Do.

( I think Krav M., Akido, Ju jitsu are all great ways to protect yourself. )

Akido is probably the most practical-- its all about disarming attackers , arm and wrist bending and keeping out of harms way.

  3. krav maga. but assuming you can't find a place to train that offers krav maga classes then a good second would be a mix of kempo and muay thai kickboxing

  4. My vote would go to Krav Maga or JKD.  But it does come down to the individual applying it.

  5. Commando Krav Maga, CQB which is used by the New Zealand SAS, or the LINE System of the USMC.

  6. It has to be ninjujitsu. We use so many hand techniques and we know SO many escapes and throws from a punch.

  7. Depends on who your fighting, striking is the best when standing and BJJ if it goes to the ground. Fights always go to the ground so I suggest just taking them down from the start.

  8. kickboxing? tkd? karate?

  9. Aikido

  10. In martial arts i would have to say strike of the sleeping cobra it parlyizes them adn sends them to sleep LOL. My brothers an idiot whenever i was bugging him he would do it on me. You use tehir nose and ears maybe arms adn legs or neck for this. Or just kick them in the face adn poke their eyes to disable them for awhile then go for the candy..... if u know what i mean :D

  11. jui jitsu

  12. israeli krav maga is almost unbeatable.

  13. the basics of ground fighting because thats where almost all of street fights end up

  14. They're all pretty good in basic self defense, but there are some which are better than others in real/street fighting situations.  In my opinion, the most effective styles for real fighting situations are jeet kune do, kali/escrima, krav maga, jui jitsu, aikido, and systema.  These styles are great because the focus isn't on preparing for tournament fighting or getting a different colored belt (even though there are belt color systems in place).  Instead, the focus is on learning what will be useful in real life.

  15. There is no such thing as a best martial art. Nor better or worst. They all have ups and downs. Martial arts was invented as a way to defend yourself, so any martial art will help you in a street fight. Even more, it will help you to talk your way out of one. There are only better fighters, schools, & teachers. We utilize the art, we defend ourselves, we fight. Arts don't fight for us.

It all boils down to YOU, and what YOU like, and what strengths and weaknesses YOU have.

Most people who actually say, "oh this martial art is the best that one sux..der..der..der" are only Biased opinions.

Lets say there a was a best martial art. Why on earth would their be other arts? Theres already a best, right?

    Good Luck!

  16. Krav Maga (I'm not sure I'm spelling it right)
