  3. Yes. My cousin got married recently and had his dad as his best man. However, if the bride has a married woman as her maid of honor, it changes to matron of honor.

    Forexample, at my wedding, my fiance AND I have 2 best men (his brother and his best friend of 15 years) and 2 matrons of honor(asking my to decide out of my two which is the best is just crazy!).

  8. yes, of course it is. the groom picks whomever he is closest to, his brother, or a close friend.. it doesn't matter what his marital status is
