  1. being moderated means posts need approval prior to going directly to the group- this often prevents spam and flame wars. the owner has a choice of approving the post, deleteing it or rejecting it.


  2. The postings to the group are watched by a person, who will remove them if they think they are not on topic, violate any rules of the site, are insulting, etc.

    Like YA, but here WE are the moderators. Most groups have just one (or a few) appointed moderators.

  4. A moderator is the webmaster who keeps his/ or her website or forum from spams, rude remarks, or is off topic. In other words has the power to delete, or change the remarks, or even disbanned a member who is not being friendly on his/ or her website.  I am a webmaster of my website and I will not tolerate any abuse on my site , period! No ands, ifs, or buts about it!
