In about 2 years I'm going to get a first time job.....?

Me, i would rather work with horse's than anything else, just being around them and watching them is amazing!. What would be a good first time horse job. I want to let the owner(s) of the horse(s) that i'm dependable on taking care of their horse as in mucking out the stale, cleaning/polishing tack, grooming the horse, excersising the horse, etc.

A good first time job would be either a hot walker or a groom.  Both are good jobs and good places to start out at and work your way up in the business.  Everyone I know who works with race horses whether it be jockeys, trainers, exercise riders, etc. started out in the business as either a hot walker or a groom or did both and worked their way up to where they are now.

Find a local stable and see if they are hiring.  Even if they aren't you can donate time, and keep your ears open for other employment opportunities while honing your horsey skills.
