In adobe illustrator CS, jpeg tht i place in a "ai" file is't opening when i m opening tht ai on another pc?

I placed two jpegs in a illustrator file and do some artwork, save and take tht file wth me. when i m opeing that file to another pc, it require jpegs that i placed. further, the file require font that i used. what should i do?

  1. When you place an image into Illustrator, by default, Illustrator does not "own" it. It simply links to the where the image is held on your hard drive. When you try to open the file on another computer, the pictures won't be there.

    You have to embed the images once you place them into illustrator, so that they become part of the .ai file.
