  1. Better the military than spending it on lazy, no-good-for-nothing loafers looking for a handout and not a handup.

  2. It is better than throwing your freedom to the terrorists, Freedom isn't free it is payed in currency and blood. Price we pay sacrifice that is made and it takes money to do it. God Bless our troops .

  3. probably throwing more on dipshits that won't get a job

  4. Trillians on trillians$$$$$$$

  5. only about 5% of the GDP

  6. Well the last 8 years have been nothing but war..........no playground building with this administration, that's for sure. I'm looking forward to some happy news when Bush is gone.

  7. No. We don't have any money. We are borrowing money and throwing it at everything. We must have a military, but the $12 billion a month welfare program for the Iraqis is a horrible blunder.

  8. We don't put enough.....we should quit giving money to people who hat us and buy more stuff to keep our boys alive.

  9. The US spent money on the military space program. Our economy was forced to survive in war.Transition of public economy towards a water bassed fuel will cushion the impact of a fully electric future.

  10. We do spend billions of dollars annually on defense.  Without that, we may not be as secure within our borders as we are now.  It's hard to tell how much is enough and how much is too much, but it's not being spent on the salaries of our military soldiers.  Equipment costs continue to escalate but their salaries don't.

  11. your buddy nale is a ******* hippie........

  12. One would wish to think; plus I believe it's a wise investment.

Actually, most of our money is foolishly spent amongst the bureaucracy that exists within our US Gov't. For instance, when the State legislative proudly announces that they budgets millions into the Board of Education.  But what I see are new escalators, vending machines, fancy architect in building new facilities to the schools.  But none of that money is being used for 'education'.  Heck, most of these students don't know there is a State of New Mexico and think there are 52 states and think TX is the largest state.  And this 'no child left behind' bullcrap 'Billary' Clinton started; they'll be left behind when they become adults.

And this Medicaid for people that don't deserve it!  And illegal Mexican immigrant gets free medical while I have to ensure my health plan is paid for, while I am limited on the plan as far as Medicaid goes.  Plus NASA asked for too much d**n money for their new high-tech space shuttles when a British billionaire built his with half the money and it can fly into space without burning up thousand pounds of rocket fuel.  It can merely enter orbit and reenter the atmosphere without such extra support-glad one politician recognized it, Bill Richardson.

Funding on the military is necessary, just this other foolish spending is the real problem!  Just that too many Libs have to have an excuse!  Actually Libs in Congress are doing their best; its these civilian lib dweebs that has no experience in politcal science like likes to blame Pres. Bush for UN call on WMDs and Pres. Bush responsible for the death of Superman because of his lack of support in brain stem cell research.

  13. were actuly lacking in military spending back in the 80(before the liberal Clintion) the Defence budget was aronf 15% of the GDP now its less than 8% of the GDP so were actuly not spending as much as we usto however we should be spending mroe now because you have 2 nations with hostile neiws of the US(CHina and Russia) both with booming economies and they are increasing their defence budjets by 30-50% each year so we should be spending mroe rather than les...

  14. Did you know we spend a goodly amount of money printing common government forms in Spanish as well as English? We spend a goodly amount of money on tax incentives and public services. Also, quite a lot on foreign nations and their welfare.

According to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, in 2007 the U.S. spent approximately $439.3 billion towards the military, not including fields outside of the DOD.

  15. Sorry my friend, your mate is misleading you. America spent more money based off % of GDP in the 1980's and is at historical lows.

  16. In all reality the answer is no. Your "bud" needs to check the Federal budget. The military takes less than 20% of the amount the Congress authorizes to spend. Most of Federal government spending is in the category of "have to spend" because they are entitlement programs.
