  1. o dont worry you'll b fine. i'm 15 and i've flown alone. its not that bad just once your there stay near your gate, and make sure you find the right one. and go like to a restaurant or starbucks and like listen to your ipod and text or read. haha anyways you'll be fine and have fun in florida i just got back from there and it was fantastic! have fun!! =)

  2. Hello,

The Atlanta Hartsfield airport is one of the largest! It's a neat place, filled with shops, restaurants, and basically anything that can keep you occupied before your flight. Regardless of the airport size, Atlanta is actually very easy to navigate. There are signs posted every 200-300 yards. The airport train is very easy to use and clearly explains what terminal you are currently en-route to or arriving. You should have no problem. Just look at your boarding pass and find your gate number. The letter in your gate number is the letter of the terminal (if your ticket has gate T36, for example, then your plane is in the T terminal which you can get to via the train). It's an easy system. If you need help, contact the nearest pilot, flight attendant, gate agent, or airport employee. They can be identified by their airport IDs on a neck lanyard.

    Good luck and happy flying!

  3. I'm 32 now, but have been flying alone since I was 14 or 15, and navigated through O'Hare, Denver, etc when I was that age.  (O'Hare and Atlanta flip-flop every few years for who is #1 and who is #2 busiest)

When you get off the plane in Atlanta, just go to the TV monitors.  There will be some for arrivals and some for departures.  Look on the departures monitors, and find your flight to Orlando or Miami or wherever it is in Florida that you are going.  There will likely be several flights to that city, so pay attention to the flight number.  Then just go to that gate.  Like the previous person said, "D18" means terminal D, gate 18.  Signs overhead will tell you what terminal you're in now, so if your next flight leaves from a different terminal, you'll have to follow the signs to the underground train.  Once you get to your gate, check the TVs again.  If you have a long wait, check them every once in a while, until your flight to Florida is the next one that's going to leave from that gate.  Then just hang out in the gate area and listen, just in case they change the gate.  They probably won't...I'd say in my experience it happens maybe 5% of the time.
