In an apartment,can ones have a washing machine or/and a dyer machine?

Are people allowed to have either washing machine or dryer machine in an apartment room? Does the rent increase? thanks

Most apartments do not have the hook-ups for them. You need a hot and cold water spigot plus drainline for the washer and a 220 electrical outlet plus the exhaust duct for the dryer.

It shouldn't make your rent increase.  In fact, the places around me that offer w&d hookups reduce rent because you end up paying for water, and not the complex.

I'm not sure where you're from, but around me, most of the complexes around me offer hookups more than not.  People like the idea of a laundromat, but hate the lugging of the laundry to and from the car, but getting all of them done at once is the best plus of all.

Depends on the apartment.  Some do not even have hook-ups, but most modern ones do, plus the landlord or manager will surely mention it one way or the other.

it depends on the apartment... different landlords allow different things.  it would be in your lease, if not, ask your apartment manger/landlord.
