  1. There are more players who golf a round under par.  About 95% of people who get a hole in one are really good (5% get lucky)... so it is likely that they will get a round under par if they are making a hole in one (so many hole-in-oners have a round under par).  And I know plenty of players who shoot under par who have never gotten a hole in one!

  3. You would think it would be more players shooting under par.  But it is interesting, I played golf in high school and played with a guy in a tournament who got a hole in 1 on a 200+ yard hole on his way to shooting a blazing 100!  He was a guy that could hit the ball far at times, but not consistent, but he got a hole in one, something that I, who used to take golf very seriously have never done.

  4. hole in one definetley

  5. Either the Dallas Cowboys or the Pittsburg Penguins

    NO!!!! The Phillidelphia Phillies

  6. In an average year, there are more holes in one made on most courses than there are rounds where a player shoots under par. So far, 2008 , at our country club with an April Start to the season, we have had 5 people make holes-in-one. There have been no rounds posted which are under par.In 2005 , with top amateurs playing two tournaments, there were 6 holes-in-one for the year compared to 2 rounds at par or better. One of those was at par.

  7. Considering that 95% of golfers out there don't have a prayer in the world of shooting an entire round under par, myself included, I'd have to say that there are more holes in one, as that's really just a luck shot...even for the pros.  I haven't made one yet, but I've hit the pin a few times.  That's more than I can say for shooting under par, with an all-time best of 85...that's hardly the equivalent of hitting the pin.

  8. easily people under par. go to ur local country club, when they have the mens league, there should be a handful of very talented players who will shoot at least one round under par week in and week  out

  9. This is a good question. I would guess Hole-in-one, luck striking once I could see, but the average player breaking 90 is a big deal.
