  1. The only lines you can see in the sky are thin clouds still lit by the sun that has just set, or jet contrails that are still lit by the sun.

    There are no lines in the night sky connecting the stars (the way they are shown in star charts).  The stars of a constellation are not related to each other, they simply appear related by our perspective.  But the stars in a constellation can be hundreds or thousands of light years apart.


  2. It sounds like you saw nocticulent clouds.  They look like glow-in-the-dark, electric blue tendrils.

  3. I've seen tiny lights flying back and forth between what look like stars to me...

    A few of us saw them when camping.

    It was incredible.

    But, I'm not sure that's what you mean...
