  1. Bloom's taxonomy would say that whoever is at the top of the pyramid in any given group would be the most likely to experience a revelation.

    Personally, I have a really hard time restricting a choice to one particular sect or segment. My guess would be that the one(s) in any segment with (the least to lose and) the most open mind would be the most likely to experience a revelation.

    I do not agree with the above poster who states that a revelation must be an original perception to be "authentic".  Your personal revelation may be a revelation for me, as well.

    I agree with the first responder who said that the suffering were most likely....


  2. Only the person who receives it. Anyone else who hears of it gets it second-hand, so it can't be a revelation to him/her. If we all got God's revelations at the same time, we would not argue about how un-godlike some of those revelations are--and we would all know god exists.

    Instead, we are expected to believe it second and third hand, and even 2nd and 3rd millenia. That is no revelation, it is a cruel hoax.
