sorry, part of it got cut off... I wanted to know if in any way does high speed internet interfere with the use of telephone service. And does it prevent callers from making calls.

Sometimes DSL will, because it uses your phoneline, but its on a different band that that of a normal phone.. If you are getting interference then you can get a DSL filter for your phone.

Absolutely not if you are using cable internet ;-)

It does if your adsl splitter has gone kaput.
