In apple macbook webcam whether video capturing feature is available?

I need to know the advantage and disadvantage of apple macbook webcam. can anyone tell me some site to look the full technical specification abt apple OS and how to operate that. I am new to apple and I am not fully utilising the features..

It's a webcam. 640X480. Not really any more specs than that.

If you want to video chat, open iChat and find some friends that use AOL Instant Messenger (there are others supported, but that's the best quality and most often used)
