i have one fire sign in my planets; leo, in jupiter, 5th house. is this a singleton?

  1. A singleton is a planet all by itself on one side of the chart, while all the other planets are in the other half of the chart. This configuration is called a "bucket" and that lone singleton becomes kind of important, since it is holding down the fort all by itself on one side of the chart. The bucket can face any which way, as long as the singleton is in one half and the rest in the other. The singleton is kind of the "handle" to the "bucket."

    It doesn't matter which planet it is, or which sign, or which house... it just has to be by itself on one side of the chart to make it a singleton.

    I do not know why the person above me says there is no such thing as a singleton in astrology...
