I think what your looking for is called essential oils.  They're sold all over the place.  Here's a bunch of manufacturers in Bangkok, maybe if you email them they can tell you where to buy.

am told Sampaeng Lane near the Phahurat Market.  I can't give you much detail beyond that.

I have been to Chinatown a few times, and I quite enjoy going there.  If you go looking for the fragrance oils, give yourself enough time to do some other shopping and grab a meal.
