In basketball is the following considered carry?

Ok the player i was v.sing had the ball,he could hold it with one hand. Well, anyways he bounced the ball about 4 times then held it with one hand for about 2 second. He then started bouncing it again,is that carry. I called carry, then he started yelling like a r****d. The game was up to 56, i had 54 and he had 55.

yep it is... he "palmed" the ball..

thats basically a carry.

the 2nd one, pinning a shot.. it depends:

if the ball hit the backboard then you pinned it, then its goaltending..

but if it was on its way and hasnt touched the backboard yet, then u swatted it.. then its all good
