A manager can also be a promoter...basicaly the person who gets the bigges cut of the boxers wage......don king anybody?

coach or trainer works with the fighter physically and manager sets up fights.

A coach is the guy who trains the fighter and works in his corner during a fight. A manager makes phone calls and tries to get his fighter matched up.

Occasionally a trainer will also work as a manager.
