In boxing when it is someones first time sparring,do those people mostly lose then win?

well i was training in boxing for a month and a half and i weigh 201 lb and i am 15 years old mostly because of my muscle i weight a lot and i was sparring against this 14 year old kid who weighs 238 lb!!!!who do you think would win and does peoples first time sparring is a lose or a win?

  1. Sparring is practice, bro.  If you get too competitive, it turns nasty, quick.

Look at Elmer's answer.  Read it and then read it again!  Sparring is practice.  No winners or losers.  You are trying to help each other get better especially when you are first starting out.  Don't get me wrong.  You need to try hard but don't go trying to knock his head off.  And if things are getting too heated, your coach should instruct you both to settle down.

    And there is no weight limits in sparring.  I fought my career at 175-190 lbs.  I sparred people as light as 125 lbs (working mainly and defense and speed) and as heavy as 230 lbs.

  3. sparring isnt a competition. its just a part of training.
