In breaking dawn, what IF Jacob imprinted on the baby?

i dont get it.

i do get it that when someone gets imprinted, its basically love at frist sight... wolfs version. but what IF jacob did imprint the baby? did he do something to her? and around the next few pgs, it said that the baby was UNTOUCHABLE? what does that mean?? and why was Bella so hyped up about her baby getting imprinted?

He did imprint on her. Bella was mad because mothers are possessive of their kids.

Ummm I know you said no spoilers but he sort of did imprint. To imprint all a were-wolf has to do is look at the person and you pretty much your life changes in ways you can never imagine! The baby was untouchable because, well it'd be the worst torture ever, to destroy something so special. Seriously it'd be worse than death! Remember back in New Moon if you understood how Edward felt after Alice's vision of her "suicide" you might be able to feel the pain of destroying a person's imprint. Oh and Bella was so pissed, Becausee I mean she went though a heck of a lot of  pain when her told her get rid of it. Also she was being protective of her daughter because remember what happened to Sam's girl Emily?

Jacob imprinted on the baby. It's like a vibe, a love connection the wolves feel. And Jacob's love just happened to be Renesmee. She was untouchable bcause everyone who wanted her was very strong but they also loved her and wanted nothing to happen to her. And from Bella's pt. of view, a guy who loves her, who makes things complicate for her, is going to be in her life forever, with her daughter. Your baby. Your very young BABY, already has a soul-mate; Bella's kind of worried that Renesme's going to be taken from her already. She's not ready to let go yet, she still can't believe that it's not inside her any more!

First of all, the book was amazing. I wont tell you if Jacob imprinted, but i wil tell you that Bella was mad cuz jacob had like imprinted in her and she knows how annoying it can be..she doesnt want her little Nessie to have that

he did imprint on her - thats the point but jacob doest really love her in a creepy way he just wants her to be happy the love love stuff doesn't come until later.

And Bella is upset about her daughter getting imprinted on because of sota motherly love and also she feels like she herself barely has a claim to her daughter right now herself - (she is almost always uncertain of herself) and she doesn't want jacob to have a claim on HER daughter.

Jacob didn't do anything to her but fall in love with her when he saw her. Bella was glad that he wasn't in love with her anymore so they could be back to normal again. I don't want to spoil anything else :)

Imprinting is just suposed to be an unbreakable bond.  He didn't "do" anything to her it just happened.  She is untouchable because the whole pack will now have to fight for her, because it would hurt Jacob too much to loose her.  Bella isn't hyped because her newborn is now bonded for life to a wherewolf.  As a mother I can tell you I don't want to even begin thinking about my daughters dating let alone bonded for life or longer ;)

he imprinted the baby is untouchable because jacob loves her and if shes killed it will kill jacob since he loves her so much bella is hyped because now she and jacob can go back to being bff's and not star crossed lovers

Spoiler: He did imprint her and the only thing he did to her was that she knew that they belonged together.  

The UNTOUCHABLE concept I believe has to do with Bella because being a new vampire and everything, she might have less control around her own daughter who's part human=heart beating/blood flowing.

Bella was hyped up because if you barely knew someone you wanted to raise and then someone, an old friend maybe, knew that person more and already knew that they would end up together, how would you feel (sorry if it gets confusing)? I think Bella was also afraid of Jacob "seeing" Renesmee "that way."
