We are looking for an all inclusive resort, it doesnt have to be the nicest place in the whole city, but with at least good living conditions. Most importantly we want to be near a nice beach, hopefully swimmable. We are going the first week of April. Any suggestions??

  1. Hello!

Villa del Palmar is not all inclusive.

The only hotels in Cabo San Lucas that are all inclusive is RIU Palace, RIU Santa Fe and Tesoro Los Cabos.

I have had a couple complaints on the RIU Santa Fe and would recommend the Tesoro (closest to downtown on marina) or RIU Palace (10 minute cab or 30 minute walking distance to the marina/downtown).

  2. Hola.  Like I said before Medano beach is one of the safest, swimable beaches in Cabo....no seaweed either.

If you stay at the Villa del Palmar  you will find yourself on the east end of Medano Beach near the end, and the Riu Sante Fe is located even a little further east on the beach.  Both are in a stretch that would be considered a little more rough but swimable.

I've attached a link of a really great map of the area, to give you a better idea of where things are.  The Riu's aren't on this map, but they are closer to the Sam's club and walmart area, just on the beach side.

...and p.s. don't worry... you won't pick a bad resort.  All of the ones you are looking at are 5 star and therefore will be almost identical in services and ammenities.  Just go and enjoy your holiday.  I can guarantee, you'll be back!
