In cabo san lucus, which hotel is better? Riu Palace or Riu Santa Fe?

I just came back from Staying at Rui santa fe two weeks ago. The food is good, i think the best from all the resorts i stayed at, it is beautiful and overlooks the beach as well. The palace and the santa fe both sit closer together the shows at nite are pretty, good, the club on site was even packed friday night. I would recommend this hotel ten times over again, the pictures from the website hands nothing on the view i seen staying there. The rooms are clean, the mini bar in room stayed packed and they are very friendly and helpful getting around both the resort as well as the local area. I save money and go to the newer, better and under rated santa fe. I think eventually the price is going to go up when people realize this is an amazing place to stay.

Palace for sure, not that the Santa Fe isn't nice, but the Palace is "A Palace on the Beach".  It is very beautiful, the food is good and the views are awesome.

All I know is that the Sante Fe is behind the Palace.

I was there in March and it was AWESOME!

The Palace. Their website, www.riu.com, explains that the "Palace" is a higher grade of resort, while the Santa Fe is a "Classic" level. They both offer 24 hour all inclusive, but the Palace is definitely a step up with turndown service, etc. - more luxurious amenities.

I believe that if you're staying at the Palace, you may utilize the facilities and dining options at the Santa Fe, but Santa Fe guests are not allowed to use the Palace. The Palace is a bit smaller too, 642 rooms compared to 902.

They both look pretty great to me though!

I'm staying at the Palace in a few weeks! I'll let you know. :-)

Both are really nice.  Sante Fe is smaller than the other and newer than the other, but then the Palace has more events and activities.  Rooms seems pretty close to the same.  If you pick either one you won't be disappointed.

Dah, what difference does it make...they both look beautiful from the pictures on their sites.

It even looks like it is one huge facility with both Palace and Santa Fe units together.....both have photos from the north side of the bay looking south toward Cabo's tip and Lover's Beach.

Strange....

But if my choice, I'd go to the Palace.....just looks better to me...but it's all good......
