Well if a collection agency is bothering and you don';t know why? either could be coincidence that someone ahs same name and info, or on the bad side of things you could be victim of identity theft. YOu should get a copy of your credit record and look over the inquiries on the report to see if there are credit cards and companies you do not recognize. You can get a hold of your credit report through companies such as Equifax. If you discover on the report that there are exa. credit cards issued that you do not have in your possession, I suggest contacting teh proper authorities. Can be a bad situation so don't sit around and wait.

well if you owe them money then pay the bills

if they actually have the wrong person try and explain this to them and some proof that they in fact have wrong person
