  1. The problem with answering your question is that there are literally hundreds of variants of Hearts.  However, the most common rule is that each heart is worth 1 point.  Therefore, a person taking a 5 of hearts and a 10 of hearts would take 2 points.

There is, however, a variation called Spot Hearts where every card is worth its number value.  Thus taking the 5 and 10 of hearts would be worth 15 points.  In this version, the Jack is worth 11, the Queen 12, the King 13, the Ace 14, and the Queen of Spades 25.

  2. 1 points per hearts cards

13 points for the Queen Of Spades

-10 points for Jack Of Diamonds (optional)

26 points for Shooting the Moon (win all hearts and the Queen Of Spades)

5 of hearts and 10 of hearts are 2 points
