  1. yeah, sometimes I have to let my opponent take me to keep on going with the game

  2. well you could slide your checker to the space you wish.

  3. not always it depends how the other person likes to play

  4. when i'm playing with a real person i never do, but on computer games they make me.:(

  5. yeah, if u can jump, u must take it whether u like it or not

  6. technically yes but it is also a fun game when you dont' have to take them, many times i like it better

  7. Yes.

  8. You must take the piece you jump.

  9. Yes you have to. The rules aren't really something you should rely on being able to change even if it is just for fun. If you were allowed to go around changing the rules on everything nothing would really ever go anywhere. If you move and there is another piece in the way, you would have to jump it and then take it. The only way to avoid taking your opponents piece would be to make another move that didn't involve jumping. Basically you always have to take when you jump. No avoiding it.

  10. yep yep yep yes yes yes yes .....if u dont like it deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... hahahahahahahah

  11. well... it depends on who you play with.

checkers is a type of game which everyone goes by their own rules. which i why i don't play any more.

i played checkers with so many people that i heard of the most outrageous "rules" for this game. for example, the "cata-corner rule".
