when you play checkers....if you have a king, can you split them up when you get back to your own back row? thanks (me and my cousin are playing now lol)

No you can not, once its a king it stays a king. Period.

That's how me and my friend always played but I don't think it is official rules but I'm not sure.

No once you get a king, it can move either direction and it doesn't matter if you get back down to the other row. You cannot king a king.

You Are The KEEPER OF THE RULES. If you think a rule is in dispute, come to an agreement before yu play.

For me, once a king never a nave. Oh dont forget the FORCED JUMP rule where you must jump when possible. Dont always like that rule
