  1. Yes, you can castle on either side.  Some players prefer to castle on the king's side, and some prefer to castel on the king's side.

  2. yes u can you can as long as u are not in check or there are pieces between your king and catsle

  3. Yes of course. The rule is to simply move your king two spaces to either side and bring the castle around to the other.

    A few restrictions of course:

    - the King cannot be under check.

    - the King cannot pass through a space that would place him under check during the castling motion.

    - neither the King nor castle can have been moved the whole game, even if they have been moved back to their original spots.

  4. You can castle either side....Kings side or Queens side..as long as no pieces are between king and castle, you've moved neither piece, and the king is neither in check, will pass through check or will be in check after you've castled..

  5. Castle. White castle, But dont hastle, Rastle, Mastle, HIHI POKEMON GOTTA CATCH EM ALL

  6. you can do that for both sides but even though i know how to play chess that doesn't mean my dad and older brother can't beat me...I always lose to them.

  8. yes

  9. To Castle Queenside, move the King two spaces toward the Rook, to c1, and move the Rook to the other side of the King, on d1.

There are four important rules that govern Castling:

Rule #1: The King and Rook may not have moved from their starting squares.

    Rule #2:

All of the spaces between the Rook and the King must be unoccupied

Rule #3: The King cannot be in Check

Rule #4:  The squares that the King passes over cannot be under attack, and since you can never move your King into Check, the square to which it's moving can't be under attack either

  10. yes can castle either side

  11. You can castle either side as long as:

    1. Neither King nor Rook have moved

    2. There are no pieces between the Rook and King

    3. The King is neither in check, nor will move over or land on a square attacked by an opposing piece.
