In chess, how far can the queen move?

  1. The queen can move in any direction and any number of spaces.


  2. any direction to the end of the board

  3. all the way to San Fransisco

  4. any direction. any distance.

  6. as far as it can go. vertical, horizontal, diagonal. u can't jump over peices with the queen.

  7. The queen can move in any one of the 8 directions, with no limit of spaces each time.

  8. The queen moves any direction any number of squares except when one of its own pieces of same color is in the way,and/or piece of opposite color is in the way in regard to a square it is on where by you can take the piece and take the place of the piece you just took by capture.

  9. The queen can move in any direction as far as you want it to go (as long as something isn't in the way).

    And it isn't limited to a set number of spaces!
