during a move, if the other player does not see the move, does he have a right to ask to tell him the move again? Or doesn't he have a right to ask for it?

  1. That is why you notate the game.If you leave the board check for any changes, its only one piece that has been moved.Plus check the clock to be sure a move has been done.If not sure about the above do not leave the board, except when needed, which one reason is not to go look at other games.

  2. In tordiment play with notations and a clock, you do not have to show your opponent you move, but you opponent has the right to ask to see your notation sheet, and there they can find there last move.  So technically no, but yeah, its nice =p

  3. He can, but he doesn't have to.  In fact he probably won't in a tournament game.

  4. I'm pretty sure if a player doesn't see a good move before his turn is over, he's pretty much out of luck.  Officially, the move is final once he takes his finger off the piece.  Unofficially, he can ask to redo it if his opponent hasn't moved yet, but the opponent has the choice to allow a redo or not.
