In chess, if white is at d4, and black at d5, what next?

if the white in d4 is a minister or whatever you call it and its the white's chance and the one at d5 would be killed easily if incase the black is minister tooo he can escape the trap.If its black's turn do it vice versa

if he takes it, you move your pawn to e4 and your bishop will take the pawn next move

I think queens gambit (c2-c4) is the best move here, as previously stated.  It enables you a strong defense, and is one of the better openings for the game.
