In the context of chess, what does having a "sharp position" or "sharp opening" or "sharp move" mean?

    Unclear position - a position where few obvious moves are good.

    Drawish position - a position where all the possible paths consisting of obvious moves lead to a draw.

    Wild position - ???

    Solid position - ???

    Tactical position - ???

    Strategic position - a position where there are several similarly-good moves

    Complicated position - a position where some of the obvious moves are good and some bad.

    Sharp position - a position with traps and few good moves.

    Good but it is like putting a knife in the room you are fighting in.  The other guy will try to get it too.

  5. a great move: like a discovered check or a really good skewer or pin. Moves that are hard to find and are smart moves that will help the player in the game.
