  1. Pawns can't kill backwards the only movement they can make is moving forward and there only way of attacking is diagonally.

  2. No, because pawns can only go forwards and attack forward diagonally.

  3. NEVER, NEVER

no it can't, if you have time care to read a chess rulebook!

  4. No.

  5. NEVER

  6. NEver even attempt it or you will become a vile fiend

  9. yes, if it reaches the enemy territory and you get to exchange it any piece you want(except for the king), then you can eat backwards

  10. no

  11. Of course they can. But you would have to be playing one hella weird game of chess.

Have you ever heard of suicide chess or scotch chess??

You might want to try those

  12. no a pawn can kill on forward diagonally only

  13. No. No chess pieces can kill. They are inanimate objects, so they aren't alive.

  14. Hi,

PAs capture diagonally forward only.  On the first move they move one or two squares forward.  On the second and every other move they move one square forward.  You may like to visit my web page - link below?

You may like to see the Vanguard [GU] as used in Chesmayne.  They move one or two squares 'diagonally' forward on the first move and one square diagonally forward thereafter.  They capture one square forward or back!  A GU [Guard] can also retreat one square backwards!  This means that a GU could move to the first rank of the board [on its first move].

You can also PRINT out any set of chess pieces in the world - FREE from my web page!  Example below.......

    So, summing up:-

    Pawn [PA].

FMO: First Move Option: 1 or 2 squares forward in a file.

AOM: All Other Moves: 1 square forward in a file.

    Capture: 1 square diagonally forward.

Special Move: En Passant move is also available for a Pawn [PA].

    Guard [GU]:

FMO: First Move Option: 1 or 2 squares diagonally forward.

AOM: All Other Moves: 1 square diagonally forward.

Capture: 1 square forward or back in a file.

Special Move: GU may retreat 1 square backward in a file.

    Yours,

    Chesmayne.

  15. They can only kill forwards diagonally. Though in checkers a king can kill backwards diagonally.

  16. read the d**n instructions!

  17. Unfortunately, no.

Once the pawn has traveled to the other side of the board, then you can turn it into whatever peice you want, queen prefferably, then it can attack reverse-diagonally, but, then it is no longer pawn, is it...

  18. No. Pawns can't move backwards or diagonally. So you can't kill backwards diagonally.
