  1. no its called torture. you are winning, but you want to win with dignity, and they will look like a bad player, even though you already won. i am a champ in connect four, and i beat my friends 2-3 times, then let them win. they are happy that they won, but then i point out that i have 3 times already. its fun to torture.

  2. Babes, im sorry, i dont have a clue

  3. If I understand your question correctly, you are saying that you could of won the game at some point, but instead you decided to promote pawns to queens.  Since the point of the game is to put the other person's king in check, and you could of, but decided not to.  I would think that you were toying with your opponet, which is bad gamemanship.  To answer your question, yes you were wrong. You should of finished the game.

  4. Hey, that's like a Japanese haiku!

    In chess get three queen

And you could have won the game

    Before that, you were wrong

  5. you can't get 3 queens as there are only 2 queens per chess board

  6. I've tried some unusual things when i was younger at chess.

And they were just all interesting experimentation.

-- how many pawns can i promote to queens

-- can i checkmate my opponent on a certain square

-- can i checkmate my opponent with 2 bishops, bishop and knight...

I've also been known to toy with an opponent that should have already resigned

Is it "wrong", not sure this is chess question or morality question.  It is legal, whether or not is wrong is more about what your motives were.

  7. Hello,

Each of the eight pawns may become a queen - theoretically!   This means you would have the original queen + eight others - making a total of nine possible queens that could be on the board at the same time!  Rarely more than two queens actually are on the board.  Usually a pawn reaches the eight rank and is promoted to a new queen.  But a pawn may also be promoted to a Rook, Bishop or Knight as well which is called an 'underpromotion'.  'Fairy Chess' problems have been produced with many queens on the board at the same time.  You may like to visit my web page - link below?  I hope this is helpful for you.

    Yours sincerely,

    Chesmayne.
