  1. There is a queen in chess.  Who knows why games were designed as they are?  It was something that was in the heads of the people who first thought of them, and in reality there is probably no particular reason.  It could have something to do with the monarchy in the country where the games were invented.

  2. 1queen

    1king

    2bishop

    2knight

    8pawns

    2rooks

  3. maybe the queen in chess wanted to be alone? Please chose this as the best answer

  4. I agree wid Kateyez

  5. the "vajir" is called Queen. So there is a queen in chess.

Don't have any idea about carom. May be the players in carom can consider themself as king trying to get Queen.

So, i guess there are kings in carom.

  6. in chess there is a queen too

    the pieces are:

    1 king

    1 queen

    2 rooks

    2 bishops

    2 knights

    8 pawns

but I guess there is only a queen in carom because they want to. If my name is Bob for example why is my name Bob? Cause my mom named me Bob. But my name isnt Bob. I guess the inventor of carom was a lonely man and never got his queen so made a piece the queen!
