  1. no they arn't. my son is almost 11 but wears size 8

  2. In a perfect world yes but as we all know they probably wont fit. Sorry!  You should try calling and asking sizes!  You'd be surprised on children sizes and how they fit also it really depends on the brand it seems as  if no 2 different brands match up.

  3. Technically, yes. But most will only fit true-to-size for children up to age 6-7. About age 8, most children will grow at different rates, and most will need to try on clothes before they buy them. Also, for ages 12 and up, kids will probably wear clothing purchased in the juniors and/or adult sections.

  4. they just put those number on there for fun

  5. No not at all, 16 and 14 is a pretty large size...you should call their parents and ask them what size they wear.

  6. In theory, yes.  In practice, children come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes.

  7. after a girls size 7 .....I dont think it has anything to do with age

my kids have been wearing "their age" till about 7 years old! one of my daughters is 9 and wears a 7 and the other is 7 and wears a 8

  8. No its not the same size. Some clothes actually are labelled via age (e.g ages 10-12) Just check the labels and definitions of numbers, ask for help - thats what the assistants are there for :p

  9. size has nothing to do with age...nothing.
