Yesterday I went to the mall and at the food court they had a Chinese Restaurant so I got some food there. I had got some fried rice. I was eating it and I seen a red pepper so I ate it. I love hot and spicy foods but this pepper almost killed me! My mouth was burning so bad I had drunk all of my drink and mom gave me some tums and it still burned! Does anyone know what kind of pepper this was? It looked kind of like a skinny red pea pod and it was about 3 inches. I f you know what this pepper was please tell me so I can stay away from it! lol.

Thanks in advance.

PEACE;

  1. really, you got hot Chinese food?  amazing!?!  please tell me where you got that, as i've never been able to get any hot dishes even while travelling around the country.  i suspect that my version of hot differs slightly to what others think...

  2. It is the Dry Pepper. In China, people like to put in dishes. You needn't to eat it but if you like you can try it.

    People in Sichuan Province like this kind of peppers very much. If you do not like pepper you can eat Beijing Roast Duck. The Rice noodle in my home town-Guilin is also very good.

  3. Probably a 'birds-eye chili'..

  4. These really hot peppers are a variety of  chili peepers called  Tien Tsin Chili Peppers. Mexico and India also have a very similar pepper but they are called by different names.

  5. It's called a chili pepper.
