  1. During the Kreb's cycle, the coenzyme A called Acetyl CoA helps make ATP but only 2 are made per glucose molecule.  In the Electron Transport Chain, the enzymes NAD and FAD help make ATP by being oxidized and releasing hydrogen  which leaves the inner membrane of the mitochondria.  However, when it reenters through ATP Synthase, it causes it to spin, pulling in ADP's and P's and results in 32-38 ATP's.


  2. It is the enzyme adenylate cyclase, which is the primary source on non-mitochondrial ATP synthesis
