  1. Realistically there are prob about 20 teams who could really win it and thats counting a few teams that could come out of nowhere and have a shot at winning, for example Kansas last year.

There is no rule that says a non BCS school cant win it. But the odds and chances of that happening are really really low. Even if a non BCS school goes unbeaten, its still really low.

  2. yes any divison 1 school can contend for a championship but they probably wont get enough votes becasue lack of schedule strenght

  3. no

  4. Sorry to say >NO

  5. No because the d**n sports writers decide on that ****.

  6. Well, probably no. The NCAA decides that. Based on NCAA rules, only division 1A schools can contend for the BCS championship or any of the bowls. But based on the BCS system, most non-BCS can't even make it to the NC game despite unbeaten. Only ND or an BCS school can actually make it there.

  7. They need to be a D1 team (or whatever they call it these days).  I'm not familiar with Miami International, but for a team thats not in a BCS conference it is possible to win a BCS championship.  Although the likelihood of it happening is very very slim.  Their schedule would have to be gruelling, playing many major schools and defeating them all.  Plus they would need every BCS conference team to have at least one loss if not two.  Don't hold your breath.  The BCS has been crashed by non BCS conference schools, but never a championship game.  The conference they are in dictates how hard the schedule can truly be.
