  1. i'm not in college but it is more respectful to take ur hat off in any building and also your professor will probably have their own rules.... GOOD LUCK... Its my senior year...yay... ^_^

  2. Dress code varies from school to school----you'll have to ask the one you want to find out about.

At my college, there ARE some things that we are not allowed to wear----hate-related shirts, bandannas, gang symbols, and so on.  I'm not sure what the dress code says about hats, though.

  3. I think you would not be allowed to wear hats, unless they go with the outfit.

  4. it depends if its community or private and which country

  5. You can, but if the instructor feels it is disrespectful, he or she may ask you to remove it.

  6. no dress code in college unless your professor tells u to take it off u should be good to go...

  7. There is no dress code unless your professor asks you to take off your hat.

  8. There's no dress code in most colleges. College is like a mini-city so really the only person you'd be embarrassing should you choose to dress erratically, is yourself. I believe your technically "allowed" to wear hats, but it's kind of frowned upon. Nobody is going to get you in trouble for doing so however unless it's a private university with higher standards.

  9. It depends entirely on the professor.  At my university, the business school students had to dress in business attire (suits, ties, dresses) of they weren't allowed in class.  In the next building over, some of the other students looked as though they were wearing pjs and were allowed into their classes.

  10. Most colleges are much more lax about dress codes than high schools. They don't really care what you do. Generally, hats are allowed except during tests or quizzes, since they can hide signs of cheating.

  11. No dress code - this is college not high school. You can wear whatever you want - hoodies, jean ..etc.

About hat - it depends on the professor.

  12. NO DRESS CODE YAY!!!! yeah you're allowed to wear hats just as long as it doesn't bother/offend other people...if ur a girl don't dress S****y b/c no one will take you seriously or respect you

  13. depends on your teacher of coarse so there is no definate answer :)

  14. perhaps it depends.. no dress code, u should be able to wear hats.

  15. In general, colleges don't have dress codes (unless they are strict religious schools). You are an adult, and it's up to you to decide how to present yourself.

Hats are generally allowed, but often not allowed in tests because it could somehow help you cheat.

  16. There are a lot of colleges. Some have dress codes, some don't.

  17. no dress code, hats are a go

  18. Their is a dress code, it is a little more liberal than high school, but there is a dress code.  Proper attire is mandatory.  A professor can have you removed from their class.

Gentlemenn are expected to conform to propeetiquettete and to remove their hats whenever they are inside a person's home or a classroom.
