In college what is an oral report & sign up?

i go to a community college and my class only last from 8:15 to 9:35 and i have about 30 ppl in my class. . . we have other things plained for that day also. . . is it possible that just certain people can sign up to give oral reports? or is she going to make all of us do an oral report im kinda freaking out here because i have social anxiety and im afraid if i have to give an oral report i might pass out or something. im scared TO DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she has on our scedual thing that she gave us at the begining of the semester a list of everything we will be doing and on one it says oral report instructions and sign up. so im hoping that just certain people who want to give oral reports can sign up for it. do you think thats what it is? i hope so. lol

Your teacher is probably making you sign up for the time that you want to give your speech, but everyone will have to do it on various days. It's not too bad - everyone has to do this eventually. You'll be fine. Good luck!
